Rock on, Bono

Last Thursday in Intro to Theology we listened to two songs with contrasting views.  (Interestingly both were from the 80s).  One was "Blasphemous Rumours" by Depeche Mode and the other was "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2.  Our assignment for Tuesday is to answer:

1)  Why the incredibly distinct responses between the two songs?

2)  In U2's song, what is the song about?  What is he looking for?
