Moonlight
Tonight I caught a glimpse of moonlight shining through a small window onto my bathroom floor. It was a small, concentrated area bright enough to create a shadow when I moved my hand over it. It amazed me to think that light was coming from the sun (on the other side of the world) and reflecting off the moon. Wow. Even in the middle of the night sunlight reaches the far ends of the earth as it reflects off the moon. This reminded me God. 1 John 1:5 says that "God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all." Even in the dark of night God's light shines to the remotest parts of the earth.
